This is an annual event sponsored by Optimist International. Optimist International provides the topic upon which youth write a 4-5 minute speech. Schools in southern Jefferson County are contacted to encourage participation. Our club's winners will advance to the zone level to compete to advance to the East Missouri District contest to compete for scholarship funds.
