Head Start Photo Gallery

Volunteers don Santa and Mrs. Clause apparel and give sweatshirts, toys, mittens, hats, socks, shoes, books, and other items to economically disadvantaged 3 - 5 year old children in southern Jefferson County at the Head Start schools in DeSoto and Hematite.

Every fall, volunteers purchase, sort and wrap the gifts which will be provided to the Head Start Children

Of course the real beneficiaries of this program are the children; but as volunteers, we are filled with warmth as we see the happy faces of the children!
